A Prayer to Love God and Accept His Grace
Lord, I want to love You with all my heart. Draw me close, and help me open my whole life to You. Teach me to delight in You above all things.
Thank You for Your grace. I cannot earn it, and I stop striving to. I receive Your mercy as the gift it is, and I turn from every sin that pulls me away from You.
Create in me a clean heart, O God. Forgive what is past, and lead me in Your way. Let my repentance be sincere and my trust in You complete.
Above all, I long for unbroken fellowship with Christ. Let nothing come between us. Keep me near to You this day and always, in Jesus' name, Amen.
When to Pray This
Pray this when you feel a stirring to grow closer to God, or when sin has left you distant and longing for fellowship again. It is a good prayer for quiet devotion, after confession, or at the start of a new season with the Lord.
