How to Use These Verses
For a wedding reading, Genesis 2:24 with Mark 10:8–9 is the classic pairing, and Ecclesiastes 4:12 — the cord of three strands — is beloved at unity ceremonies; read one just before a wedding prayer or a prayer for the bride and groom.
