For a wedding, 1 Corinthians 13:4–7 remains the most-read passage for good reason — it works beautifully just before a wedding prayer or a blessing over the couple. For an anniversary card or a note to someone you love, the shorter verses (1 John 4:19, 1 Corinthians 13:13) say the most in the fewest words.
