A Prayer for Accepting God

Loving God, I open my heart to You today. I want to accept You and welcome You in. Quiet my doubts and soften my will. Help me to trust that You are near.

You know me better than I know myself, and still You call me Your own. Teach me to lean on Your love, and to rest in Your gentle care.

Come into my life, Lord Jesus. Take my fears, my questions, and my pride. Fill me with faith that grows each day, and draw me closer to You.

I give myself into Your hands. Thank You for receiving me just as I am. In Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this when you feel ready to open your heart to God, or when faith feels uncertain and you want to draw nearer. It is a good prayer for quiet moments of surrender, morning or night.
