A Prayer About Sacrifice

Loving God, you gave your own Son for me. Teach me the beauty of a giving heart.

Help me to lay down my comforts when love asks it of me. Make me willing to serve, to share, and to let go.

When sacrifice is hard, remind me that nothing offered in love is ever wasted. Shape me to be more like Jesus.

I give you my time, my plans, and my whole self today. Use me for your good purpose, in Jesus' name, Amen.
