A Prayer for When You Are Tired but Must Go Out
Lord, I am weary, yet the day still asks something of me. I must go out when I long to rest. Meet me in this tiredness, and lift me gently.
Renew my strength as You have promised. Steady my steps and clear my mind. Carry me through what I cannot carry alone.
Go before me, Lord, into every place I must enter. Let Your grace be enough for this hour, and bring me safely home again.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
When to Pray This
Pray this before you head out the door on a day when you feel drained. Take a slow breath and let God meet you in your tiredness. You can whisper it again quietly as you go.
