A Prayer for When God Says Yes

Thank You, Lord, for this good gift. You heard my prayer, and You said yes. My heart is full, and I praise Your name.

Keep me humble in this blessing. Let me never forget who gave it. May I hold it with open, grateful hands.

Help me to use this answered prayer well, to bless others as You have blessed me, and to trust You just as deeply when the answer is no.

All glory belongs to You, Father. In Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this when God answers a longing of your heart and a door swings open. Let the joy settle into gratitude, and give thanks before the moment passes. It is a sweet prayer to speak aloud or share with those who prayed alongside you.

A Verse to Hold On To

"O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever." — Psalm 107:1 (KJV)
