A Prayer on James 1:17 — Every Good Gift

Father of lights, every good gift comes from You. Every perfect gift falls from Your hand like sunlight from above. Thank You for Your goodness to me.

You do not change. There is no shadow of turning in You. When my days shift and my heart grows weary, You remain the same faithful God.

Open my eyes to see Your blessings, both large and small. Teach me to receive each one with a grateful heart, and to give back to others as freely as You have given to me.
