A Prayer for My Own Sickness

Loving Father, I come to You weak and weary. My body is tired, and this sickness weighs on me. You see every ache and every restless hour.

Lord, be my healer. Ease my pain and bring strength back to my body. Guide the hands of the doctors and nurses who care for me, and bless the medicine I take.

When I grow discouraged, remind me that I am not alone. Hold me in Your peace, and help me rest in Your love.

I trust myself into Your care, today and always. In Jesus' name, Amen.
