A Prayer for Back Pain

Loving God, my back aches and I grow weary. You know every pain I carry, and nothing is hidden from You. I bring this hurt to You now.

Lord, ease the strain in my body. Bring relief where there is pain, and steady me when I cannot stand or rest with ease. Guide the hands of the doctors and caregivers who help me.

Give me patience on the hard days and hope that I will mend. When the pain lingers, let Your peace carry me. Hold me up, Lord, for I lean on You.

Thank You for being near. I trust myself to Your care, in Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this when back pain flares up, or at night when discomfort keeps you from rest. Let it remind you that God is close, and keep following the care and treatment your doctor advises.
