A Prayer for a Sick Loved One

Loving God, the one I hold dear is sick, and my heart is heavy. I bring them to You, for You are the healer of body and soul.

Lay Your gentle hand upon them. Ease their pain, calm their fears, and restore their strength in Your good time. Guide the hands of those who care for them.

Hold me steady too, Lord. When I feel helpless, fill me with quiet trust. Help me love them well through every day of this.

I place them in Your keeping, and I rest in Your mercy, in Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this when someone you love deeply is unwell and you feel worried or helpless. It can be prayed at their bedside, on a quiet evening, or whenever fear rises. Trust God with them, and keep supporting good medical care.
