A Prayer After Fainting

Lord, my body grew weak and the world went dark. I felt myself slip away, and I was afraid. Thank You for holding me even then.

Steady me now, Father. Calm my racing heart and clear my head. Restore my strength as I rest in Your care.

Guide me to the help I need, and give wisdom to the doctors who check on me. Keep me safe from harm.

I trust myself into Your gentle hands. Be my strength when I am weak, in Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this quietly after you have fainted, once you are safe and sitting or lying down. Let it calm your fear and steady your breathing. Please also seek medical advice, as fainting can have causes a doctor should check.
