An Emotional Healing Prayer for a Loved One

Loving Father, I lift up my dear one to You today. You see the pain they carry inside, the wounds that do not show. Come close to them now.

Lord, bind up the broken places of their heart. Where there is sorrow, bring comfort. Where there is fear, bring peace. Where memory still stings, bring Your gentle healing.

Help them to feel that they are not alone. Surround them with Your love and with people who care. Give them rest, and quiet hope for the days ahead.

I trust them into Your kind hands, knowing You are near to the brokenhearted. In Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this whenever someone you love is hurting inside and you long to help them heal. It is a comfort to pray it quietly on their behalf, or to share it with them if they are open to it. Emotional healing often takes time, so return to this prayer as often as you need.
