A Trinity Sunday Prayer of Praise
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty.
I can't explain You, and I don't need to.
I only want to praise You.Father, You made me.
You made the earth beneath my feet
and the hands I fold to pray.
You loved me before I was born.Lord Jesus, You came to find me.
You lived our life and died our death,
and You rose again to bring us home.Holy Spirit, You live within me.
You pray in me when I have no words,
and You keep the fire of faith alive. One God, three Persons, perfect love.
Draw me deeper into that love today.
Let me live in the grace of Jesus,
the love of the Father,
and the fellowship of the Spirit.Glory to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit. Amen.
When to Pray This
Pray this on Trinity Sunday, the first Sunday after Pentecost. It can also be prayed on any morning when you simply want to praise God, without asking for anything.
A Verse to Hold On To
"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you." — 2 Corinthians 13:14 (BSB)
