A Prayer for When You Need Help

Lord, I come to You just as I am. I need help, and I don't know where to turn. Hear my cry, and be near to me now.

You see what I am carrying. You know every worry on my heart. Lift this weight, and give me what I need today.

Be my strength when I am weak. Be my light when the way is dark. Hold me close, and do not let me go.

I trust that You are with me. Thank You for hearing me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this whenever you feel overwhelmed and simply need help. You don't need the right words — God hears even a whispered cry. Return to it as often as you need, and let it remind you that you are not alone.

A Verse to Hold On To

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." — Psalm 46:1 (KJV)
