A Prayer to Break a Season of Bad Luck

Lord, it feels like one thing after another has gone wrong. I bring my worn and weary heart to You.

I let go of fear and the sense that trouble is chasing me. You are not a God of luck, but a God of love who holds my every step.

Guard my going out and my coming in. Turn my hard season toward hope, and open doors that no one can shut.

Help me to trust You today, whatever comes. Lead me into brighter days, in Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this when it feels like nothing is going right and one setback follows another. Let it remind you that your life is held by a loving God, not by chance. Return to it whenever worry starts to take over.
