A Prayer for Healing from Abuse and Loneliness

Father of all comfort, You see what others have not seen. You know the hurt I carry and the loneliness that sits heavy on my heart. Draw close to me now.

Where I have been wounded, bring healing. Where I have been afraid, bring safety. Keep me from harm, and surround me with people who are kind and trustworthy.

Lord, I do not want to carry this alone. Remind me that I am loved, that I have worth, and that You will never leave me. Give me courage to seek help and wisdom to take the next right step.

Hold me through the long nights until the morning comes. In Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this when the weight of a painful relationship or loneliness feels too heavy to bear, especially at night or in quiet moments. If you are in danger or being hurt, please also reach out to someone you trust or a local helpline, for God often sends help through caring people.

A Verse to Hold On To

"The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit." — Psalm 34:18 (KJV)
