A Prayer for No Fear

Lord, You are near, and I need not be afraid.
When fear rises in my heart, be my strength.
Quiet the voices that make me tremble.

You have not given me a spirit of fear,
but of love, and power, and a steady mind.
Help me to trust You more than I fear anything.

Hold my hand through what worries me.
Fill the empty place where fear once lived
with Your perfect peace.

I will not be afraid, for You are with me,
in Jesus' name, Amen.

Pray this whenever fear grips your heart, whether in a sudden moment of panic or a season of worry. Say it slowly, breathing in God's peace, and repeat the words as often as you need them.
