A Prayer for Doing Homework

Lord, I come to You as I sit down to work. Quiet my mind and help me focus. Give me patience with what feels hard, and a steady heart to keep going.

Help me to understand what I am learning. When I feel stuck or tired, remind me I am not alone. Guide my thoughts and steady my hand.

Thank You for the chance to learn and to grow. I offer this work to You, and I will do my best. In Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this before you begin your homework, or whenever you feel stuck or discouraged partway through. Take a slow breath, ask God to steady your mind, and then begin one small step at a time.
