A Prayer for Contentment
Lord, teach me to be content. Quiet the restless wanting in my heart. Help me to see the gifts already in my hands, and to give thanks for each one.
When I compare my life to others, turn my eyes back to You. You know what I need, and You provide. In Your care I can rest.
Free me from the chase for more, and fill me with simple, steady joy. Let Your presence be enough for me, today and every day.
