A Prayer for Car Trouble

Father, my car has let me down, and I feel the weight of it. The worry, the cost, and the inconvenience all press on me at once. I bring it to You.

Keep me safe where I am. Send help at the right time, and give wisdom to those who will look at the problem. Provide what I need for the repairs, Lord, for You know my situation.

Calm my frustration and steady my heart. Help me to be patient and kind with everyone I deal with today.

I trust You to walk with me through this small trouble. In Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this when your car breaks down or won't start, or while you wait for help by the roadside. It is a good prayer to steady your nerves before you call for a tow or face the repair bill.

A Verse to Hold On To

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." — Psalm 46:1 (KJV)
