A Prayer Before a College Music Audition

Father, You gave me the gift of music, and today I offer it back to You. Calm my racing heart and steady my hands as I prepare to play.

Help me to breathe, to focus, and to trust the hours I have practiced. Quiet my fear, and let me find joy in the music You have placed within me.

Whatever the outcome, Lord, hold my future in Your hands. Open the doors that are right for me, and give me peace in the ones that close.

Thank You for this moment and this calling. In Jesus' name, Amen.
