A Thanksgiving Blessing to Share at Your Table
A blessing is spoken over people, not just before food — a way to send everyone at your table into the holiday truly seen. Read this one aloud before dinner, write it in a card, or text it to someone who couldn't be there this year.
May this table be full, and your hearts be fuller.
May the Lord who has carried you through this year give you eyes to see every gift it held.
May the ones beside you know how much they're loved, may the ones far away feel it across the miles, and may the empty chair be held in God's own keeping.
May you leave this table fed in body and in soul, and carry its warmth into winter.

The Heart of a Thanksgiving Blessing
