A Prayer When Struggling With Sin

Merciful Father, I come to You weary and weighed down. I keep falling into the same sin, and I need Your help.

Forgive me, Lord. Wash me clean and lift the shame from my heart. I cannot win this battle on my own.

Give me strength to resist what pulls me down. Fill the empty places with Your Spirit, and set my feet on a better path.

Thank You that Your grace is greater than my failures. Hold me close, and lead me home, in Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this whenever you feel trapped by a sin you cannot seem to shake, or when guilt and shame weigh heavy on you. Return to it as often as you need; God's mercy is new every morning. Let it remind you that His grace meets you right where you are.
