A Prayer for Protection on My Child's Drive

Father, I lift my children up to You as they drive today.
Guard them on every road and at every turn.
Keep their eyes alert and their hands steady,
and surround them with Your watchful care.

Protect them from harm, from careless drivers, and from danger they cannot see.
Bring them safely to where they are going,
and safely home again into my arms.

I trust them to You, Lord, for You never sleep.
Give my heart peace while they are away.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this as your children head out the door or whenever you think of them on the road. It is a gentle way to hand your worry over to God and rest in His care while they travel.
