A Prayer for Peace Between Parents and Children
Loving Father, You have set us in families to love one another. Bring peace between parents and children where there has been hurt or distance.
Soften every hard word. Heal old wounds. Help us to listen with patience and speak with kindness.
Where pride has divided us, give humility. Where anger has grown, plant understanding. Bind us together in Your love.
Restore what is broken, Lord, and make our home a place of peace, in Jesus' name, Amen.
When to Pray This
Pray this when tension or misunderstanding has come between parents and children. It is a good prayer before a difficult conversation, or quietly at the end of a hard day when you long for peace at home.
