A Prayer for My LGBTQ Daughter

Loving Father, I bring my daughter before You today. You knew her before she was born, and You love her more deeply than I ever could. Thank You for the gift of her life.

Help me to love her well, Lord, with open arms and an open heart. Where there is distance between us, build a bridge. Where there is fear, give me patience and grace.

Watch over her as she walks her path. Keep her safe from harm, surround her with kind people, and let her know she is never alone. May she feel cherished and never cast aside.

Hold us together as a family, Lord, bound by a love that does not let go. I place her in Your faithful hands, trusting Your goodness. In Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this whenever your heart is heavy or full for your daughter, especially in quiet moments when you long for her well-being. It can steady you before a difficult conversation, or simply remind you to entrust her to a God who loves her even more than you do.

A Verse to Hold On To
