A Prayer on My Deceased Father's Birthday

Loving Father, today would have been my dad's birthday, and my heart is heavy and tender. I remember him, and I miss him more than words can say.

Thank You for the years You gave us together. Thank You for his love, his voice, and the memories that still warm my heart. Hold him safely in Your care.

Comfort me on this day, Lord. Where there is sorrow, bring peace. Where there are tears, be near. Let my grief make room for gratitude for a life that mattered.

I trust him to Your keeping, and I trust myself to Your love. Carry me through this day and every day. In Jesus' name, Amen.
