A Prayer for a Safe Bike Ride

Father, I thank You for this day and the chance to ride.
Watch over me as I set out, and keep me safe on every road.

Give me a clear mind and steady hands.
Guard me from falls, from careless drivers, and from harm I cannot see.

Let me feel Your presence in the wind and the open air.
Fill my heart with joy, and bring me home safely again.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this before you clip in or push off, whether for exercise, a commute, or a long ride. You can also whisper it quietly at a stop along the way whenever you feel the need for peace.

A Verse to Hold On To

"The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore." — Psalm 121:8 (KJV)
