A Prayer Before a Music Audition

Lord, my heart is beating fast as this audition draws near. Steady my hands and quiet my nerves, and remind me that You are with me.

Thank You for the gift of music You have placed in me. Help me to practice well, to breathe deeply, and to play and sing from a calm and joyful heart.

Whatever the outcome, let me offer my best as a gift to You. Free me from fear of judgment, and fill me with peace that does not depend on winning.

I place this moment in Your hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.
