A Prayer About Sin
Merciful God, I come to You honestly. I have sinned in thought, in word, and in what I have done and left undone. You see it all, and still You love me.
Wash me clean, Lord. Forgive what I cannot undo. Lift the weight of guilt from my heart, and let Your mercy be greater than my failing.
Teach me to turn from sin and walk a new way. Strengthen me against temptation, and help me live in the freedom You give.
Thank You for Your grace, poured out through Jesus. I rest in Your forgiveness, in Jesus' name, Amen.
When to Pray This
Pray this whenever your conscience feels heavy or you long to come clean before God. It is a good prayer for quiet moments of confession, before worship, or at the close of the day. Let it remind you that God's mercy is always ready to receive you.
