A Simple Prayer for Kids

Dear God, thank You for today. Thank You for my family and my home. Thank You for the sun and the sky.

Please keep me safe and happy. Help me to be kind and good. Help me to share and to play nice.

Thank You, God, for loving me. I love You too. In Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

This little prayer is easy for children to learn by heart. Say it together in the morning, at bedtime, or any time your child wants to talk to God. Speak the words slowly so they can join in.
